Innovative products such as “The Georgia Comfort System”
may offer the perfect solutions to your indoor comfort needs;
dramatically reducing operating costs while greatly improving
indoor comfort and air quality.
“The Georgia Comfort System”
To overcome the
high humidity conditions we experience each summer, many homeowners
are discovering a much greater degree of comfort in their homes with
a system Trane has designed specifically for humid climates, “The
Georgia Comfort System." This systems achieves an amazing level of
quietness, super humidity control, efficiency, and air filtration
through the use of a variable speed blower motor in the indoor air
handler or furnace. Four times greater
summertime
humidity removalMany people turn their thermostat
down to a lower than normal setting during mild, humid, outdoor
conditions to force their air conditioner to run. The air feels
“sticky” because of the moisture content. Our body is really
craving drier air in our home rather than colder air.
Trane addresses this need by
starting the variable speed at a slower speed. By moving
the air more slowly across the indoor coil, the air is quickly
cooled to a lower temperature, thus removing more moisture
than a blower motor only capable of operating on high speed. “The Georgia Comfort System," by running the indoor
blower at reduced air flow during startup on mild humid days, is
able to provide the dehumidification your home needs without you
having to adjust the thermostat. In fact, “The Georgia Comfort System”
is able to remove up to fifteen gallons of water each day from your home’s
indoor air. That’s up to four times the amount of water a
conventional single speed blower motor system can remove in a day’s
time. The "Sound of Silence"
You will be
impressed at the quietness of the variable speed indoor blower motor
used in “The Georgia Comfort System”. Gone is the familiar
“thunking” sound you probably have heard when your old furnace
blower starts up. The Trane variable speed blower motor starts
silently with a “soft start”. The motor gradually begins to turn
until it reaches the selected air flow that matches your home’s
comfort requirement.
Improved Winter Comfort
In addition to superior summer comfort, “The Georgia Comfort
System” will heat your home more evenly and efficiently in the
winter. The furnace has two stages of heating capacity
to precisely match the comfort needs of your home.
On most
days it operates at half capacity to provide a more uniform
temperature throughout your home. You may have noticed the
temperature going up and down like a roller coaster in your home
with your old furnace. That discomfort will be eliminated.
On
extremely cold days the furnace automatically switches to full
capacity to provide the extra heating capacity required to meet the
heat loss of your home.
Better Air Filtration
Due to the
number of hours that the variable speed blower motor operates at
lower speeds, moving air more slowly through your system’s filter,
the efficiency of the filter is increased. The air maintains
contact with the filter longer, thus filtering out more airborne
particles than occurs with a conventional single speed blower
motor.
Ten Year Parts and Labor
Warranty
“The
Georgia Comfort System” is backed by a
Ten Year Parts and Labor
Warranty. You are
assured of ten years of operation without repair costs. That’s real
peace of mind.

you will make in your home. Many of our customers benefit in their
decision making process by visiting our showroom to see working
Trane systems and accessories. It’s difficult to get a perspective
of quality of construction from a brochure, and impossible to know
how quiet a system will be without actually hearing it run.
